How many staff will I need to undertake my pack/unpack ?
The size of your home determines how many staff you will need. Generally we would recommend the following ratios to get the job done in the minimum amount of time:
2 bedroom home/apartment 2-3 staff
2-3 bedroom home 3-4 staff
4-5 bedroom home 4-5 staff

How long will it take to packup my home?
Each home is vastly different and giving a time frame sight unseen is very difficult. However with the right ratio of staff it may take between 6-8 hours.
We work on an hourly rate and this varies on the amount of staff required. Please call or email for an indivdual quote.

These are highly recommended for all your hanging clothes. Port-a-Robes are $17.00 each. There is a delivery fee of $35 in the Sydney Metro area? You are welcome to provide your own removalist cartons and butcher paper if you choose not to use our supplied and delivered option.

How do you know where to put everything when unpacking?
We always try to use the same staff on the pack and the unpack so they are familiar with your possessions. Good memories and common sense are the keys to placing items where they belong. If we haven’t undertaken the pre-pack we will use initiative to determine correct placement if you are not available, alternatively we can work closely with you, following your instructions whilst unpacking.
+
Do I have to be home when you pack/unpack?
We find many clients are unable to be home when we pack and unpack. We liaise with them before the date and request any special instructions. Post it notes on cupboards work really well “Pack Me’ ....... “Super Fragile” ......... “Don’t Pack”. Mostly we leave essential items kettle/toaster/minimal crockery and cutlery to get through the evening of the pack and breakfast the next day. Many clients prefer us to pack everything as they find it easier to eat out that evening and for breakfast the next day.
We do wipe over shelves and cupboards before items are placed in them, however if more than this is required we suggest you have a specialised cleaning service the day before you move into your new home.
+
What happens when a staff member breaks something?
In the event of a breakage that is our fault eg. dropped by a staff member we would show you the item and cover the cost of repair or replacement. If an item is broken when we are unpacking we check for damage to the carton in the event the carton has been dropped or squashed during transit.
+
Do you undertake packs/unpacks of a weekend or public holiday?
Yes we happily work on these days, however a surcharge applies.
+
What areas do you service?
We service all Sydney suburbs and the Blue Mountains.

I'm a mother of a toddler and I'm pregnant...
We frequently work with mums and mums to be. You will find having our team undertake your pack or unpack a very comfortable experience – we’re all mums too and can relate well to your situation. We can help with the placement of furniture if it’s not exactly where you want it and we have a fine eye for detail when it comes to setting up homes.
+
Do you sort as you pack/unpack?
When we pack we use common sense and discard obvious rubbish – empty jars, empty packets, old newspapers and foods that are clearly out of date
